Qualifying non-space grade components for short space missions

🚀Qualifying non-space grade components for short space missions 🚀

Our team just completed a radiation test campaign. The results confirm our system design for unplanned & short space defense missions.

By qualifying non-space-grade components to enable the use of the robust MIL-STD-1553 protocol, we unlock a smarter path forward—achieving reliability without relying on high-cost, space-grade hardware.

Key highlights:

◾ Costs Savings: Our approach will save up to half a million dollars per Interceptor mission.

◾ Resilience: Space-induced failure events were thoroughly identified and quantified on the MIL-STD-1553 terminals during the test campaign, paving the way for our mitigation and recovery strategies that enable highly-reliable space operations.
